Face Pre: Rig Type

Rig Type chooses what kind of FaceRig to build.

Joints creates a joint-based rig. BlendShapes creates a BlendShape-based rig. Mixed creates a rig that uses both joints and BlendShapes.

Different projects may require different types. Some game-engine projects may require joints only. BlendShape rigs can provide the most specific shapes or poses, but editing them requires sculpting blendshape targets.

Joint rigs tend to be faster to set up and edit; editing is done by painting weights and editing joint behavior in the DrivingSystems.

Mixed uses BlendShapes as the base and keeps on-face joints for additional control. It provides the most flexibility and control, but is slower to work with. To compensate, use FaceCtrls detach in the Selector. If game engine is used together with Mixed, the on-face controllers are not fully attached to the skin.
